Radish and Parsnip’s Story
Parsnip & Radish were admitted to SPEAR in 2017. Both goats were seized by the Police and RSPCA from an inner city area in Birmingham.
Parsnip was found by a busy dual carriage way, emaciated and lame with a broken bone in his hoof.
Radish was found in the same area 24 hours later and was also extremely thin. Both goats were rugged and fed to build their weight back up and were given plenty of rest over the following weeks to allow Parsnip’s broken hoof to mend. Once he was sound and when both goats were at a healthy weight they were neutered to prevent them from becoming aggressive and fighting each other. Both made a full recovery and now live happy lives together at SPEAR.
